PBC, the newly established consultancy firm for local Norwegian company Profitbase, has secured a significant contract with DFØ, Norway’s Public and Financial Management agency.
As part of the agreement, PBC will deliver Profitbase Planner, a digital budgeting and forecasting solution to streamline and optimize DFØ’s planning processes required for 150 state enterprises that they currently provide services for.
The contract is worth about 10 million Norwegian kroner (over 1 million US dollars), with provisions for flexibility, depending on how many state enterprises adopt the financial planner. DFØ chose PBC, with Profitbase Planner, as the preferred supplier based on quality and price.
PBC and Profitbase have significant experience in both the private and public sectors and currently deliver financial planning solutions to companies including (but not limited to): the Norwegian Directorate of Health, Skagerak Energi, the Norwegian Parliament, Varner group, several health trusts, and Norway’s Police Academy.
“The experience we have from public sector projects gives us valuable insight into DFØ’s challenges and needs. We have a robust Profitbase Planner tool that has outperformed global competitors to secure the agreement – this bodes well for the future,” PBC Chief Executive Officer Mats K. Kristiansen said.
