Information and reports should be available and readable anytime, anywhere. Users should also not be limited by the type of device used to access information (e.g. desktop, laptop, tablet, mobile phone etc.).
With Microsoft Azure, Profitbase solutions can be scaled so that your organization’s capacity requirements can be easily adjusted. In today’s economy, flexibility is a key factor to success. IT expenses can be adjusted as needed. There will also no longer be a need to build for the future or be limited by decisions made or contracts signed in the past.
The solution should be easily scalable horizontally and vertically to handle both periods of increased volume and functionality.
The solution provides the access that users need to perform their tasks according to their roles and nothing more.
The solution must be secured against unauthorized use while at the same time should not compromise accessibility by the user.
Should only be paid for during periods when the solution is available for use.
In its SLA, Microsoft guarantees an uptime of at least 99.9% on its services.
Access to the solution is authenticated through Microsoft Azure Active Directory. Here you can use Profitbase’s Azure Active Directory, or you can manage your access via your own Azure Active Directory. Many of our customers use Azure Active Directory and this makes it easy to get connected to the service without having to re-enter a user and password (ie“Single Sign-On”). For backup, we use Microsoft Azure Backup for the solution.
Users will normally use Profitbase Web client applications. You can also use Microsoft Office applications or equivalent against data that is available for analysis or import to, for example, Power BI and Excel.
