Profitbase teams up with
leading solution provider in South Africa

Recently having become a Profitbase reseller, the leading company Harvey Jones (HJ) is looking forward to offer innovative solutions within Business Intelligence. “You can’t lead the market by following everybody else”, claims Managing Director of HJ, Keith Jones.

HJ was established in 1997, primarily as a financial reporting and training company. Market dynamics and demand for more information lead the company into business intelligence in 2000. Today, HJ is the dominant solution provider in the Microsoft business intelligence sector in South Africa.

Demand for quick results
HJ has more than one hundred business intelligence customers in the region, and works both directly with clients and through an extensive partner network.

"This allows us to tailor resources to meet all customer requirements and offer optimal solutions in the shortest
possible time frame", says Jones.

HJ has an impressive track record in the financial market sector, and long-standing experience from both a business and technical perspective. Now, the company is getting ready to focus on what it believes to be current market drivers.

"There are two main drivers in the market right now: a pressing skills shortage and the maturing needs of the business intelligence market. In short, users know what they want, but are not prepared to wait months to get it”, says Keith Jones.

According to Jones, business wants quick results and the first pass at the solution to have intelligence in it. He believes Profitbase will prove to be a crucial partner in this regard.
